Sean de Burca is a percussive acoustic guitarist and graphic designer, illustrator and typographer from Surrey, England. This site is where these two crafts meet. Here you can stay up to date with his music, as well as view his design portfolio.
With over 200 design clients, he has created album artwork, hand rendered lettering logos, merch, tour posters and more for a wide variety of musicians and record labels around the globe. His work as a graphic designer has led to being an Advanced Practioner providing lectures and tutorials to the students of the Open University and Kent University.
By 2014, having played the guitar for just 7 years, he was named as one of the top 30 acoustic guitarists under the age of 30 worldwide by Acoustic Guitar Magazine (USA), as well as being featured as Acoustic Magazine's (UK) 'Next Big Thing'.

Sean has performed in Canada, America and across the UK, this includes performances supporting Antoine Dufour at the Vancouver Planetarium and Ken Bonfield’s Artistry of the Guitar showcase in Gloucester, Massachusetts. Sean’s technical playing has earned him performances at UK Tech-Metal Festival for 3 consecutive years (2014-2016) sharing the bill with Jon Gomm, plus hosting masterclasses. As an endorsee for Faith Guitars, Carillion Guitars, D’Addario Strings, GruvGear accessories, Elite Acoustics and K&K Pickups, Sean has also provided booth demonstrations at various guitar shows across the UK. He has even performed to audiences including Jeff Beck and Roger Daltrey.
Sean has released CDs in HMV (UK stores), gained numerous magazine and newspaper features, and received BBC airplay. The world famous record label, Candyrat Records (who Sean also provides graphic design for), have featured Sean's videos on their highly popular YouTube channel.
